Condition
Some customers may comment about one or more of the following conditions:
• | Overcompensation of HVAC temperature when raising the temperature from
cool to warm. |
• | Overcompensation of HVAC temperature when lowering the temperature from
warm to cool. |
• | Battery has a low voltage charge after extended periods of not being driven. |
Cause
Important: Saturn Service Stall System (SSS), software version 9.5 or greater is required
in order to reprogram the automatic climate control module.
Install new automatic climate control module calibration P/N 22694049.
Refer to "Service Programming System (SPS)" in the Saturn Service Stall System (SSS)
User Guide for reprogramming procedures. If calibration P/N 22694049 is already installed,
refer to "Automatic Climate Control Diagnostics" in the 2002 L-Series HVAC Service
Manual for additional diagnostic information.

a claim through the Saturn Dealer System for D4707 (Module or Assembly, HVAC Control
Head-Reprogram), or if another procedure is performed, refer to the appropriate Electronic
Labor Time Guide for the correct Labor Operation Code and Time.
