This bulletin is identical to Saturn bulletin 02-I-02 previously published to U.S. retailers. This bulletin is being issued for electronic reference only and the paper bulletin (02-I-02) should NOT be discarded.
Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to notify Saturn retailers that the left and right lower dash panel insulators (hush panels) have been eliminated in production on all 2002 L-Series vehicles built after VIN breakpoint 2Y537801. Anytime service is required in this area, replacement panels should not be installed.
