Here you can learn about the many standard and optional features on your Saturn, and you'll find information on starting, shifting and braking. Also explained are the instrument panel and the warning systems that tell you of everything is working properly -- and what to do if you have a problem.
Caution: Leaving children in a vehicle with the ignition key is dangerous for many reasons, children or others could be badly injured or even killed. They could operate the power windows or other controls or even make the vehicle move. The windows will function with the keys in the ignition and children could be seriously injured or killed if caught in the path of a closing window. Do not leave the keys in a vehicle with children.
The black key furnished with your Saturn vehicle works the ignition and all locks except the optional center console storage area.
The grey valet key works the ignition and doors only. It can't be used in the trunk or liftgate.
Key code information can be obtained only at the retailer where your vehicle was purchased. These code numbers can be used to make new keys. Additional keys that are needed can be made at any retail service facility provided you have the key code information. Store this information in a safe place, but not in your vehicle.
Have extra keys made. Your service parts department can make extra keys for you.
Lubricate the lock cylinders with a light or graphite lubricant. Never use a silicone spray type lubricant, as these lubricants wash any existing oil from the lock cylinder and then evaporate, leaving less lubricant than before.
