Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 892450 Size: SH
  1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
  2. Remove the fuel tank heat shield to the rear suspension support fasteners.
  3. Remove the heat shield from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 892450 Size: SH
  1. Install the heat shield and tighten the fasteners.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the heat shield-to-rear cross member to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  2. Lower the vehicle from the hoist.
