Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2001 🢒 L300/LW300 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.0L (L81) 🢒 Timing Belt Front Cover Installation

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 894303 Size: SH
  1. Install the front timing belt cover.
  2. Install the front timing belt cover bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the front timing belt cover bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  3. Install the front runner bracket.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the intake manifold runner bracket bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install the oil level indicator tube.
  5. Install the coolant pipe tube.
  6. Attach the oil level indicator tube and the extension housing and install the bolt.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the oil level indicator tube bolt to 20 N·m(15 lb ft).

  7. Install the power steering pump and the A/C compressor bracket on the engine block.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the A/C compressor and the power steering pump bracket bolts to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).

  8. Install the power steering pump.
  9. Install the power steering pump bolts.

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the power steering pump bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  10. Install the power steering pump pulley.
  11. Install the power steering pump pulley bolts. Tighten the power steering pump pulley bolts after the drive belt is installed.
  12. Install the water pump pulley.
  13. Install the water pump pulley bolts. Tighten water pump pulley bolts after the drive belt is installed.
