Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2001 🢒 L300/LW300 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.0L (L81) 🢒 Engine Oil Cooler Removal

    Object Number: 159490 Size: SH
  1. Remove the oil feed line from the engine oil cooler.
  2. Remove the return line from the engine oil cooler.

    3. Object Number: 159495 Size: MH
  3. Note the positioning of the 4 seals.
  4. Remove the oil filter cartridge housing from the engine block.
  5. Remove the oil filter cartridge housing.

    6. Object Number: 742950 Size: SH
  6. Remove the oil cooler outlet line (1) from the engine block.
  7. Remove the oil cooler inlet line (2) from the engine block.

    8. Object Number: 159494 Size: SH
  8. Remove the engine oil cooler inlet and outlet nuts (1).
  9. Remove the engine oil cooler cover bolts (2).

    10. Object Number: 159495 Size: MH
  10. Remove the engine oil cooler cover.
  11. Remove the engine oil cooler.

    Object Number: 894246 Size: SH
  1. Remove the oil cooler pipe fittings from the oil cooler.
  2. Remove the oil cooler pipe seals from the oil cooler.

    3. Object Number: 894781 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil cooler pipe fittings from the engine block.

    4. Important: The oil filter housing must be removed to allow access to the oil cooler pipe fittings.

  4. Remove the oil cooler pipes from the engine.

    5. Object Number: 894245 Size: SH
  5. Remove the engine oil cooler inlet nuts.
  6. Remove the engine oil cooler outlet nut.
  7. Remove the engine oil cooler cover bolts.
  8. Remove the engine oil cooler cover.
  9. Remove the engine oil cooler.
  10. Remove and discard the oil cooler inlet/outlet O-ring seals.
