Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear suspension support assembly.
- Remove the rear suspension control arm to the rear suspension support
nut and bolt. Discard the nut and bolt.
- Remove the control arm from the suspension support.
Disassembly Procedure
Using KM-906-70, KM-906-31, KM-906-32, and KM-906-34, remove the control arm
bushings.
Assembly Procedure
- Using KM-906-70, KM-906-33, KM-906-35, and KM-906-34 wedge to press in the new
damping bushing.
Important: A new nut and bolt must be used. Tighten retention of the old nut and bolt may
not be sufficient.
- Install the control arm to the rear suspension support using a NEW nut and bolt.
Hold the bolt stationary while tightening the nut.
Tighten
Tighten the rear suspension control arm-to-rear suspension support to 90 N·m
(66 lb ft) + 60-75 degrees.
- If installing a new crossmember, loosen the nut and bolt and re-tighten
to specification.
Tighten
Tighten the crossmember nut and bolt to 90 N·m (66 lb ft)
+ 60-75 degrees.
- Install the rear suspension support into the vehicle.
