Disassembly Procedure
- Place the control arm in a suitable vise.
- Remove the rear axle control arm bracket bolt and nut. Discard the bolt
and nut.
- Using the KM-671
, KM-906-62
and KM-906-61, press out the rear axle upper and lower control arm bushings.
- Using the KM-671
, KM-906-41
and KM-906-44, press out the rear axle control arm front bushing.
Assembly Procedure
- Using the KM-671
, KM-906-42,
and KM-906-43, install the rear axle control arm front bushing.
- Using the KM-671
, KM-906-64,
and KM-906-63, install the upper and lower rear axle control arm bushings.
Important: A new nut and bolt must be used. Tighten retention of the old nut and bolt may
not be sufficient.
- Install the rear axle control arm bracket using the new bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the rear axle control arm bracket-to-knuckle to 90 N·m
(66 lb ft).
