Removal Procedure
- Remove the front of dash insulator retainers.
- Cut the front of dash insulator at the brake booster and the brake line.
- Pull upward on the insulator to remove it from the front of the dash.
- After the dash insulator has been removed, apply an elpo coating to any dash area that may have been scratched while cutting.
Installation Procedure
- Cut the material on the new front of dash insulator as shown on the illustration prior to installing the insulator.
- Slide the front of dash into the vehicle from the top.
- Put the vehicle on a hoist.
- Grab the insulator from the bottom and pull down. Continue until the insulator has been properly positioned in the vehicle.
- Install the front of dash insulator retainers.
