Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 896625  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion.

  2. Object Number: 896658  Size: SH
  3. Remove the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  4. Important: Removal of the front seat is not required.


    Object Number: 896861  Size: SH
  5. Remove front seat bolts.

  6. Object Number: 896493  Size: SH
  7. Remove the center console extensions by pulling gently at the fastener location.

  8. Object Number: 896495  Size: SH
  9. Remove the center console fasteners.
  10. Tilt front seats and console upward to allow carpet to be removed from under seat and console.
  11. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 896598  Size: SH
  1. Tilt the front seats and the console upward.
  2. Install the rear carpet in the vehicle making sure that the carpet is properly fit under the front seat and console.
  3. Important: Use Loctite 242® Threadlocker (or equivalent) on thread of pinch bolt.

  4. Lower the front seats and install the front seat fasteners.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the seat attachment bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb in).

  6. Lower the console and install the console fasteners.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the console fasteners to 2.5 N·m (22  lb in).

  8. Install the console extensions.

  9. Object Number: 896658  Size: SH
  10. Install the carpet retainer by positioning the carpet retainer into the vehicle and snapping it into the hinge pillar molding.
  11. Gently push at the attaching clip locations to install the carpet retainer.

  12. Object Number: 896625  Size: SH
  13. Install the rear seat cushion.
