| • | Dirt or debris will cause premature wear of the rebuilt engine.
Clean all components. |
| • | Use the proper tools to measure components when checking for excessive
wear. Components that are not within the manufacturer's specifications must
be replaced or repaired. |
| • | When components are reinstalled into an engine, return the components
to their original position, location and direction. |
| • | During assembly, lubricate all moving parts with clean engine
oil or engine assembly lubricant (unless otherwise specified). This will provide
initial lubrication when the engine is first started. |
