Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2001 🢒 L300/LW300 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.0L (L81) 🢒 Crankcase Vent Housing Installation
  1. Apply sealing compound, GM P/N 1052942 or equivalent, to the sealing surfaces.

    2. Object Number: 217338 Size: SH
  2. Install the crankcase vent housing and install the gasket to the engine block.
  3. Install the crankcase vent housing bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the crankcase vent housing bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  4. Install the hoses to the crankcase vent housing.

    Object Number: 894744 Size: SH
  1. Apply the sealing compound LOCTITE® 518 or equivalent to the sealing surfaces.
  2. Install the chamber to the engine block.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the chamber bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the ventilation housing bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  4. Install the hoses to the chamber.
