Purpose

The purpose of this bulletin is to provide a service removal and installation procedure for outside air temperature sensor and update all 2002 HVAC Service Manuals at your location.

Please obtain all 2002 L-Series HVAC Service Manuals and update as indicated below.

1. Copy the reverse side of this bulletin and insert the copied page between pages 282 and 283 of the 2002 HVAC Service Manuals.

Outside Air Temperature Sensor

Removal


    Object Number: 1215463 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the outside air temperature sensor electrical connector.
  2. Remove the outside air temperature sensor fastener from fascia and remove the sensor.

Installation

  1. Install the outside air temperature sensor to the fascia.
  2. Install the outside air temperature fastener.

    3. Tightening
    Tighten the Outside Air Temperature Fastener to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
