All Model Year 00-04 Saturn JB L-Series Vehicles Thump Noise/Vibration Flat Spotted Tires on Vehicle - kw suspension wheel

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms in the PI.

Thump noise/vibration/flat spotted tires on a vehicle that has not been driven for several days or longer. Tires flat spot due to not being driven, many times these flat spots will work themselves out when the vehicle is driven.

Drive the vehicle at highway speeds for at least 10 miles to warm the tires up and work the flat spots out. This should be done prior to making any determination that tires need to be replaced for a runout condition.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance.
