This bulletin is being issued to provide dealers with information on the availability and replacement of the roof panel joint finish molding retainer clip. If the retainer clip needs replacement, use the procedure listed below. Also, until the retainer clip is available through GMSPO, it can be obtained from the GM Warranty Parts Center (WPC).
Notice: Use a plastic, flat-bladed tool to prevent damage when removing the molding.
Important: Ambient and body panel temperature should be at least 21°C (70°F) prior to bonding.
To obtain the new retainer, fax the form included in this bulletin to the GM Warranty Parts Center (WPC).
For vehicles repaired under warranty, use:
