The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

A customer or technician may comment of various electrical issues on systems that have circuits passing through the IP Fuse Block Connector X1. The cause of this concern may be traced to a poor connection at the IP Fuse Block connector X1. Since X1 is an 84-way connector, with the possibility of up to 30 Battery Positive Voltage circuits, three Power Moding circuits, and multiple other discrete circuits that pass through this connector it would be a monumental task to determine and list all possible scenarios here. Though there is the possibility for various issues to appear, the more common concerns are listed below:

One or more Power Door Locks inoperative. You may hear relay(s) clicking with this concern.

Rear Window Washer inoperative.

Power Mirrors inoperative.

Loss of Memory Seat Module communication.

Power Seat(s) inoperative.

Recommendation/Instructions:

It is important to note that the shoulder bolt in this connector will not stop turning, this is design intent. You should first attempt to tighten the bolt in the middle of the connector while listening for an audible click. This click should be heard within one revolution and heard every revolution thereafter. If no click is heard until several revolutions, the connector may not have been fully seated. Remove the X1 connector from the IP Fuse Block to inspect for damaged or backed out terminals in the connector and for damaged terminals on the IP Fuse Block. Reinstall the connector by firmly pushing the connector into place, then tighten the bolt until an audible clicking is heard. Re-evaluate the customer concern. If the concern persists, you should follow published diagnostic procedures for the customer's concern.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
