Condition

Some customers may comment that the left front door trim is loose.

Cause
Object Number: 2075250 Size: SH

The left front door pull cup is made of ABS and interfaces with a sheet metal push nut that has a coating of plastisol on it. This plastisol causes deterioration to the ABS door pull cup that retains the door trim to the door.

Correction
  1. Remove the door trim panel following SI.

    2. Object Number: 2087761 Size: SH
  2. Install two insulators to the door trim pull handle cup attaching nuts.
  3. Install the new door trim panel.

Important: This bulletin will be republished when GMSPO releases the new pull handle cup attaching nuts and/or when the trim panel pull cup is released separately from the door trim panel.
