The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers with a manual HVAC system (RPO C67) may complain that the AC will blow warm air intermittently. This will be more noticeable during operation in hot temperatures. As the compressor cycles on and off, there will be a noticeable change in the temperature from the AC ducts. This is due to the frequent cycling of the AC compressor and the amount of time that the compressor is off.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Engineering is aware of this concern and is working on a fix. This PI will be updated when more information becomes available.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
