Remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement.

Power Steering Pump Pulley

Procedure

  1. Use the J 25034-C remover for Buick, GMC, and Chevrolet or the SA9162C remover/installer for Saturn to remove the power steering pump pulley.
  2. Use the J 25033-C installer for Buick, GMC, and Chevrolet or the SA9162C remover/installer for Saturn to install the power steering pump pulley.
  3. Ensure the axial tolerance of the power steering pulley on the shaft is within 0.25 mm (0.010 in).
