Remove the hood latch release handle assembly. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle Replacement .

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

1. Disconnect the electrical connections.
2. When replacing the knee bolster, transfer all necessary components.
