The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

With the launch of the all new Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook, it is important that our customers experience the highest quality with their vehicle upon delivery. With that said, an all new "Smart Slide" seat feature is utilized for the second row seating. This seat feature allows easy access to the third row seating by allowing the second row seat to slide forward with minimal effort. When incorporating the "Smart Slide" seats along with the OEM floor mats, the seat may seem difficult to operate or bind on the floor mat. It is important that during the PDI process, the floor mat is folded per the directions below to prevent any difficulty when using the "Smart Slide" seat feature.

Simply fold the mat as shown below and hold for a few seconds, setting the fold memory.

The mat will return to its flat position when the seat is returned to its operational position.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
