The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Recent review of wheel speed sensors returned to the warranty parts center have been tested with no trouble found. This may be due to a technician replacing the wheel speed sensor without ensuring that the connector for the WSS just below the Underhood Bussed Electrical Center (UBEC) is fully seated, or the wheel speed sensor wire is not chaffed on the metal bracket that the UBEC attaches to. When the vehicle is assembled the Speed Sensor pigtail is connected to the Engine Harness. The harness is then secured by the rose bud push pin to the engine assembly. While installing this push pin, it is very easy to push the release button accidentally causing the the speed sensor to disconnect and set the fault code.

Ensure that the right front WSS connector is fully seated. If the Right Front WSS connector is fully seated inspect for chaffed wires on the metal bracket that the UBEC attaches to and repair as needed.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
