Speed Compensated Volume Does Not Change - keywords hear inoperative low no radio SCV speaker

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some customers may comment that their Speed Compensated Volume (SCV) on their radio does not work. The customer may state that they do not hear any change in the volume as they drive faster. The SCV on this radio is programmed to only have a very small change in volume, and it may be hard to hear the change.

This is normal operation of the radio for this vehicle. Do not replace the radio or try to repair this concern.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
