Inserted Navigation Disc Into CD Player And Now The Radio Will Not Eject Disc - keywords DVD inoperative intermittent stuck

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Some customers may comment that the navigation disc will not eject if it is inserted into the CD slot on the face of the navigation radio (UZR). The Correct location for the navigation DVD is located behind the radio face plate.

Recommendation/Instructions:

To eject the disc from the radio, follow the steps listed below.

  1. Turn the ignition key off.
  2. Open the driver's door for 1 minute.
  3. Press the eject button twice and wait for disc to be ejected.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
