1	Front Differential Carrier Assembly Notice: Low bearing pre-load will cause premature failure of the front differential drive pinion gear. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section. Tip If the turning torque is not within specifications, the transfer gear assembly and differential bearing thrust washer is incorrect and must be corrected. Refer to Front Differential Drive Pinion Gear Bearing Thrust Washer and Front Differential Bearing Washer Measurement . Tip Use a dial or beam torque wrench with DT-47793 to measure turning torque. Tighten 14-22 N·m (10-16 lb ft) Special Tool DT-47793 Differential Rotating Tool

Tip
