The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.

05 Saturn Relay Installation of Sit-N-Lift Mobility Seat in Vehicles without Power Front Passenger Seat or Power Sliding Doors

Sit-N-Lift can be installed on vehicles with power or manual front passenger seats. This is possible because the connector from the body harness to the front passenger seat is always present regardless if the vehicle has or does not have a power seat. Instructions on page 5 of 16 (Power Supply Connection, steps 6.10 and 6.11, right side of page) discuss this feature. Sit-N-Lift mobility seat does not require E58 (power sliding door). It can be installed in power or manual sliding door vehicles. The instructions (page 4 of 16, steps 6.7.3 and 6.7.7, left side of page) state what steps to follow.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
