Saturn is pleased to announce that for the 2006 model year, the outstanding coverage, features and enthusiasm-generating benefits of previous Owner Protection Plans will be retained with the Saturn Owner Promise.
"Bumper to Bumper" Warranty
The "Bumper to Bumper" new vehicle limited warranty will remain unchanged at 3 years/36,000 miles (57,937 km) for the 2006 model year except for the following changes:
| • | Wheel Alignment - Covered up to 7,500 miles (12,070 km) only when repair is the result of a defect in material or workmanship. Maintenance item after 7,500 miles (12,070 km). |
| • | Wheel Balance - Covered up to 7,500 miles (12,070 km) only when repair is the result of a defect in material or workmanship. Maintenance item after 7,500 miles (12,070 km). |
Saturn Service Plans (SSP)
Saturn Service Plan products will communicated in a separate bulletin at a later date.
Roadside Assistance
The Saturn Roadside Assistance program remains unchanged for 2006.
Vehicle Exchange Program
The Vehicle Exchange Program remains unchanged for 2006. There are two key elements of this program:
| • | An owner can still return their original vehicle; however, they must purchase or lease another new Saturn vehicle. |
| • | An owner cannot exchange their vehicle due to any changes in factory initiatives. The factory-supported initiatives that were available on the customer’s original purchase will apply to the new vehicle. |
| | For 2006, the Retail Reimbursement
allowances will continue to be $850 for the ION and $1100 on Relay and VUE vehicles. 2006 Vehicle Exchange Program Policies and Procedures will be communicated in a separate bulletin. |
