The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment that the low oil pressure message is displayed immediately on engine startup. Typically the message is accompanied by one audible chime and the display returns to its normal operation after a few seconds. Upon inspection you
may or may not be able to recreate the condition and engine oil pressure always appears normal.
Recommendation/Instructions:
A new calibration has been released to correct this concern. Reflash the PCM with calibration #12614382 or later for the Dephi EGR valve or calibration #12614391 or later for the Siemens EGR valve.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
