The wires are coming off the side of the cam sensor connector forcing the red wire to sit high. The power steering pump sits right on top of this connector. You cannot see it with everything in place. To verify complaint (if concern is not occurring) wiggle/tug on the C130 connector (connector is mounted in bracket attached to upper front passenger side of the intake manifold). When the pump is removed you may find the red wire smashed and rubbed through on the pump bottom.
Important: If you find that the cam sensor wiring has been damaged please contact Jim Kelly at (586) 492-5612 and supply him with the VIN and mileage from the vehicle.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
