    Object Number: 779435 Size: SH

    Important: Do not reuse the shift shaft support bearing, discard after removal.

  1. Remove the shift shaft support bearing.

    2. Object Number: 779550 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolt (1) securing the reverse block assembly (2). To remove the reverse block shaft, temporarily reinstall the bolt for a few threads and gently tap the shaft free from the front case.

    3. Object Number: 809211 Size: SH

    Important: Only perform this operation if the front mainshaft bearing is to be replaced.

  3. Remove the snap ring.

    4. Object Number: 779489 Size: SH
  4. Heat the bearing area to 80°C (176°F) and press out the bearing.
