Sliding Rear Side Door Replacement Manual or Power
Removal Procedure
Important: By removing the power sliding door (PSD) 15A fuse, the low current logic power for both the LH and RH power sliding door modules (PSDM) will be interrupted and both PSDs will be inoperative.
- If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
- Open the sliding door.
- Protect and support the sliding door at the bottom edge.
- Remove the pin (1) from the sliding door center roller bracket.
- Remove the sliding door lower roller bracket. Refer to

- Remove the sliding door upper roller bracket. Refer to
Rear Side Door Upper Roller Bracket Replacement
.
- With the aid of an assistant, remove the sliding door from the roller brackets.
Transfer parts as necessary to the new door.
Installation Procedure
- With the aid of an assistant, position the sliding door to the roller brackets.
Transfer parts as necessary to the new door.
- Support the sliding door edge on a protected surface.
- Install the sliding door lower roller bracket. Refer to

- Install the sliding door upper roller bracket. Refer to
Rear Side Door Upper Roller Bracket Replacement
.
- Install the pin (1) to the sliding door center roller bracket and secure.
- Remove the support from the bottom of the sliding door.
- Close the sliding door, manually.
- Adjust the sliding door as needed. Refer to
Sliding Rear Side Door Adjustment

Important: By installing the 15A fuse, the low current logic power will be restored to both the LH and RH PSDMs and the PSDs will be operational. However, both PSDMs will have to learn the full open and full closed positions of
the PSD. Refer to

- If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
