Range Selector Lever Cable Bracket Replacement for Saturn RELAY - AWD 2006

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L (LX9).
  2. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable from the cable lever and the bracket. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement .

  3. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket bolts.
  4. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 161088 Size: SH
  1. Install the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the automatic transaxle range selector cable to the cable lever and the bracket. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement .
  4. Adjust the automatic transaxle range selector cable. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment .
  5. Install the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L (LX9).
