The automatic level control sensor monitors for excessive compressor activity and the compressor is limited to 255 seconds for a leveling function.
This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTC:
DTC 023 Excessive Compressor Activity
The ignition is ON.
This DTC is set when the automatic level control sensor detects the compressor has been running for 255 seconds during a leveling function.
• | The automatic level control sensor disables the leveling functions. |
• | The automatic level control sensor disables inflator functions. |
The conditions that caused the DTC to set have been removed.
• | An AIR LEAK in the system will cause this DTC to set. |
• | If the rod is disconnected, DTC 033 will be set. |
The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
This step tests for battery positive voltage at the level control compressor relay. The ELC fuse supplies power to the level control compressor relay.
This step verifies that the level control compressor relay contacts are working.
This step tests the ground circuit for the compressor motor.
This step verifies that the level control compressor relay is replaced.
