Electronic Service Centers (ESCs) now have the ability to provide electronic exchange components on an exchange basis for vehicle policy decisions. When vehicle policy is appropriate, the electronic component will be provided on a no-charge exchange basis.
A properly authorized and paid retailer vehicle policy claim for the labor and administrative allowance is required. When the ESC submits a claim to GM for the component under vehicle policy, there must be a matching claim from the retailer for the labor. Partial vehicle policy adjustments do not work with this program, as the retailer's paid claim authorizes the ESC's claim to be paid.
