Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the interior trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .

Front Side Door Lock Screw (Qty: 3)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tip
Disconnect the lock cylinder and outside handle rod from the lock assembly.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Front Side Door Lock Assembly

Procedure

1. Release the door lock cable retainers from the door.
2. Disconnect the door lock electrical connector.
