Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
2. Remove the air deflector. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Replacement .
3. Remove the energy absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement .
4. Remove the front bumper impact bar bracket. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Bracket Replacement .

Remove the front bumper impact bar bracket. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Bracket Replacement .

Front Impact Bar Bolt (Qty: 8)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
22 N·m (16 lb ft)

Front Impact Bar Bolt (Qty: 4)

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Front Impact Bar

Tip

1. Disconnect the electrical harness from the impact bar.
2. Remove the hood adjusters from the impact bar, if required.
