Folding Top Side Rear Weatherstrip Fastener

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tip
Prior to the listed VIN breakpoint, some vehicles may have been built with the second design weatherstrip.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Folding Top Side Rear Weatherstrip

Procedure

1. Loosen both corners of the weatherstrip before pulling the weatherstrip away from the retainer.
2. Ensure both corners fit tight into the retainer ends when installing.

Folding Top Side Rear Weatherstrip Screw

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. The folding top must be partially open to remove the screw on the top edge of the weatherstrip.
2. Pull the weatherstrip out of the retainer.
3. Remove the rear weatherstrip retainer. Refer to Folding Top Side Rear Weatherstrip Retainer Replacement .

Tighten
3 N·m (26 lb in)

Folding Top Rear Locating Pin/Locating Nut

Procedure

Reposition the rear weatherstrip to gain access to the rear locating pin/locating nut, remove the pin

Tighten
3 N·m (26 lb in)

Tip
Ensure the folding top rear locating pin is in proper engagement position to the top and the body.
