Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement .
2. Remove the I/P compartment frame. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Opening Frame Replacement .
3. Remove the knee bolster assembly. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .

1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2. When replacing the instrument lower trim panel, transfer all necessary components.
