Preliminary Procedure

Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.

I/P Compartment Frame Bolt Cap (Qty: 2)

I/P Compartment Frame Bolt (Qty: 5)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2.5 N·m (22 lb in)

I/P Compartment Frame Screw (Qty: 2)

Tighten
2.5 N·m (22 lb in)

I/P Compartment Frame Assembly

Procedures

1. Disconnect the electrical connections.
2. When replacing the compartment frame assembly, transfer all necessary components.
