Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the shift control lever, if equipped with a manual transmission. Refer to Control Lever and/or Boot Replacement .
2. Remove the console shift lever bezel, if equipped with an automatic transmission. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement .
3. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) assist handle. Refer to Instrument Panel Assist Handle Replacement .
