Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the roof lift off panel window weatherstrip. Refer to Lift Off Panel Weatherstrip Replacement
2. Remove the roof lift off panel weatherstrip retainer. Refer to Lift Off Panel Weatherstrip Retainer Replacement

Roof Lift Off Panel Molding

Procedure

1. Place the roof panel on a protective surface.
2. Remove the roof molding by starting at the front corner, pull the molding down and to the rear of the roof until fully released.
3. Clean around the edge and the inside surface of the roof with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water by volume on a dampened lint-free cloth. Both surface must be dry.
4. Pull back three inches of the molding tape back.
5. Place the molding to the front edge of the roof.
6. Remove the tape back on the molding as it is being installed. continue peeling the tape back until it is finish.
7. Press the molding in place.
