Preliminary Procedure

Remove the windshield upper garnish molding cover. Refer to Windshield Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.

Roof Lift Off Panel Front Latch Handle Striker Fastener (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Place the roof panel on a protective surface.
2. Remove the latch handle cover.
3. Using a marker to mark the location of the latch handle striker.

Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
