Preliminary Procedures
- Using a suitable suction device, remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir.
- Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector.
- On manual transmission vehicles, disconnect the clutch hose from the master cylinder reservoir and cap the hose.

Tip
| • | If installing a replacement reservoir on manual transmission vehicles, twist the cap off of the master cylinder reservoir. |
| • | Ensure the outlet port is free debris and contamination. |

| Seal, Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir (Qty: 2)
Tip
| • | DO NOT reuse the seals. Install new seals. |
| • | Lubricate the seals with clean DOT 3 motor vehicle brake fluid. |
