License Plate Lamp Replacement SL, SL1, SL2 Models Only

For the type of bulb required for replacement, see Replacement Bulbs .

1. Turn off headlamp switch and allow bulb to cool before changing.
2. Remove the license plate bracket, if equipped, before you change the bulb.
3. With a small screwdriver, pry the tab on the lamp inward and pull out on the unit to release it from the compartment lid.
4. Twist the socket clockwise to release it from the lamp.
5. Replace with an appropriate bulb.

License Plate Lamp Replacement SC1, SC2 Models Only

For the type of bulb required for replacement, see Replacement Bulbs .

1. Remove the fastener from the lamp assembly.
2. Gently pull the lamp assembly from the decklid.
3. Rotate the socket assembly counterclockwise 1/6 of a turn to remove the bulb.
4. Replace with an appropriate bulb.

1. Turn off the headlamp switch and allow the bulb to cool before changing.
2. Turn the lamp counter-clockwise, then pull to lower from liftgate.
3. To remove the socket from the lamp, turn it clockwise, then remove the bulb from the socket.
4. Replace with an appropriate bulb.
