Caution: Halogen bulbs have pressurized gas inside and can burst if you drop
or scratch the bulb. You or others could be injured. Be sure to read and
follow the instructions on the bulb package.

Halogen bulbs have pressurized gas inside and can burst if you drop or scratch
the bulb. You or other could be injured. Be sure to read and follow the instructions
on the bulb package. To help avoid personal injury:
• | Turn off the headlamp switch and allow bulb to cool before changing bulbs.
Leave the headlamp switch off until the bulb change is complete. |
• | Always wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb. |
• | Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass. |
• | Do not drop or scratch the bulb. Keep moisture away. |
• | Place the used bulb in the new bulb's carton and dispose of it properly.
Keep halogen bulbs out of reach of children. |
- Make sure the ignition is in the "LOCK" position.
- Turn off the headlamp switch and allow bulb to cool before changing.
- To replace the low beam bulb, rotate the socket counter-clockwise (right
side), or clockwise (left side), 1/6 of a turn while pressing the socket in firmly.
To replace the high beam bulb, rotate the socket 1/6 of a turn clockwise (left side),
or counter-clockwise (right side).
- Remove the wire connector from the bulb by lifting the lock tab and pulling
it away from the plastic base.
- Remove the bulb assembly and replace with the appropriate blub.
