Repositioning Roll Connector
- Gently rotate roll connector hub clockwise with tab removed until slight tension is present.
- Gently rotate roll connector hub counter clockwise (count approximately five revolutions) until slight tension is present.
- Gently rotate roll connector hub clockwise one half of the number of revolutions counted in step 2 (approximately 2.5 times).
- Rotate smallest distance required to align yellow tab.
- Install yellow tab (2). Use tape if tab is unavailable.
Notice: If roll connector is not properly oriented to steering column assembly, it will be damaged.
Important: If yellow tab is inadvertently removed during installation or removal, and coil hub has been rotated, the roll connector must be repositioned.
