Air Inlet Valve Actuator Replacement LHD Only

1. Remove the recirc motor electrical connection.
2. Remove the recirc motor mounting screws.



3. Pull the motor straight off of recirc door shaft.

1. Position the recirc door to outside air.
2. Align the flats on motor shaft and recirc door shaft.
3. Push the motor straight on the recirc door shaft while rotating it back and forth to engage the recirc door shaft into the recirc motor.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

4. Install the mounting screws.

Tighten
Tighten the recirc motor mounting screws 1.7 N·m (15 lb in).

5. Install the electrical connector.

Air Inlet Valve Actuator Replacement RHD Domestic Only

1. Remove the HVAC module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
2. Remove the air inlet valve actuator screws and remove the actuator.

1. Align the flats on the valve shaft sleeve with the actuator motor flats.
2. Slide the actuator onto the valve shaft until fully seated.
3. Position the motor on bosses and locator.
4. Install the air inlet valve actuator screws.
5. Install the HVAC Module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
