For 1990-2009 cars only
- Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Slightly loosen the sunroof module fasteners.
- Align the sunroof module by cycling the glass open and closed. In the closed position, the glass will center the module fasteners.
- With the glass fully closed, tighten the sunroof module fasteners.
- Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
Notice: If the screws are too loose, it is possible that the glass panel will scratch the roof panel.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the sunroof-to-roof panel fasteners to 12 N·m (8 lb ft).
