For 1990-2009 cars only
- Lock steering wheel in the straight ahead position.
- Loosen left and right outer tie rod lock nuts.
- Turn the inner tie rods, by flats, in direction of the desired toe change.
- After adjustment, tighten the left and right outer tie rod lock nuts.
- Inspect the toe angle. Re-adjust if necessary.
Important: When performing the toe adjustment, the steering wheel must be locked in the straight ahead position.
Important: Ensure that the steering gear boots do not become twisted.

Tighten
Tighten the tie rod lock nuts to 70 N·m (35 lb ft).
