The rear wheel speed sensor is contained within the hub/bearing assembly. The sensor is not serviceable seperately. To replace a damaged rear wheel speed sensor, the entire rear hub/bearing assembly must be replaced.
Caution: Ensure that the vehicle is properly supported and squarely positioned. To help avoid personal injury when a vehicle is on a hoist, provide additional support for the vehicle on the opposite end from which the components are being removed.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the rear wheel hub assembly to 85 N·m (63 lb ft).
Notice: Before installing wheels, remove rust or corrosion from wheel mounting surfaces and brake rotors/drums. Failure to do so can cause wheel nuts to loosen in service.
Important: Be sure that the electrical connector is fully seated and the latch is engaged.
Tighten
Tighten the wheel nut to 140 N·m (103 lb ft).
